Parkside Coffee wins Editor’s Choice Award at the 2006 International Hotel/Motel and Restaurant Show |
Bowmansville, NY; November 2006 – Parkside Coffee received one of six Editor's Choice Awards at the 91st annual International Hotel/Motel and Restaurant Show on November 12 New York. The company entered the new espresso line, Parkside Eight, in the flavors category. |
The products were judged on innovative product design; how a product answers a particular industry need; creative use of material or construction; and development or use of a new technology. There were nearly 150 submissions to the competition in the six categories: décor, technology, restaurant, flavors, luxury and essentials. The judges were editors of leading trade publications. |
Parkside's new espresso line features traditional and innovative blends to entice any palate. Our Roastmaster cupped and roasted more than 100 samples to develop eight new offerings inspired by Italy. Included are Fair Trade Organic, water-processed decaffeinated, and two blends that shine in an espresso machine as well as a Moka pot. |
Parkside Coffee is a small-batch artisan coffee roastery in Western New York specializing in home delivery. The highest quality beans are procured for all custom blends and single origin coffees, which are roasted and packaged in-house for quality control. Though currently delivering roasted-to-order coffees by Priority Mail, Parkside is currently scouting locations for a flagship retail store. In addition to its direct-to-consumer business, the roastery also services cafés, offices, country clubs and fine restaurants. |
